Season 6 Bachelorette Ali Fedotowsky Chooses Roberto Martinez in Finale

Another drama-packed Bachelorette season has come to an end. Ali Fedotowsky, Season 6 star of the Bachelorette season, has found her true love in Roberto Martinez, a 27-year-old insurance agent from Tampa, Florida.

Martinez is a former professional baseball player, which Fedotowsky found especially sexy when Roberto brought her out to the ball field, when Ali went back to Florida to meet the Martinez family.

Roberto received the "first impression rose" on the first night of the season, obviously capturing Ali's heart from the beginning.

Last night, the "tall, dark and handsome" Roberto professed his love and desire to make Ali his wife and have a family, and got down on one knee and asked her to marry him. Ali spoke her first, "I love you."

What happened to Chris L.?

Chris Lambton, the 33-year-old landscaper and runner-up from Cape Cod, Massachusetts, did not get a final date with Ali in Tahiti after having a successful meeting with Ali's family.

After her date with Roberto, she made up her mind and did not want to put Lambton through the pain of the final rose ceremony.

Ali told Chris that she "was in love with someone else" and that it "wasn't an easy decision." A heartbroken Lambton thanked her for her honesty.

As Chris stood outside reflecting on what had happened, he saw a bright rainbow, which he took as a sign from his mother who passed away a couple of years ago that everything would be okay.

Fedotowsky later said that Lambton "would make a good husband."

What's next for Ali and Roberto?

After The Bachelorette finale on ABC, Chris Harrison hosted a special The Bachelorette: After the Rose, interviewing both Ali and Chris.

Finally, Ali and Roberto were reunited and appeared together publicly for the first time since the last taping.

They have plans to move to the west coast and start their lives by moving in together soon, with plans for a 2011 wedding. Though Ali said, "We don't want to rush things," and talked about a summer wedding, Roberto teased about moving it up to springtime.

If this wedding goes as planned, Ali Fedotowsky and Roberto Martinez will be the third couple in Bachelor and Bachelorette history to tie the knot-Season 1 "Bachelorette" Trista Rehn and Ryan Sutter were the first to wed, and Season 13 "Bachelor" Jason Mesnick and Molly Malaney wed recently.

Who will be the next Bachelor?

Though it was not disclosed who might be the next to try to find love on the popular show, many are hoping to see Chris Lambton back at the mansion.

Until the next season, ABC has decided to bank on letting nineteen former drama kings and queens--the vixens and villians--from past seasons back into The Bachelor mansion for a chance at love and to win $250,000.

Bachelor Pad will premiere on Monday, August 9th, on ABC.
