Season 8 American Idol Winner Prediction
The 28-year-old heartthrob from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, first captured America's attention at his Kansas City, Missouri, Idol audition when we found out about the death of his wife just four weeks before his audition. Not only did Danny blow his audition out of the water-he has a voice to die for-but he showed America his sensitive side.
It does not appear that any other contestant on this season of American Idol comes remotely close to the likability and talent of Danny Gokey.
On Tuesday, the first night of performances for the top 36 contestants, Danny was contestant 12, belting out a heart-wrenching rendition of Mariah Carey's "Hero," showing us his flexibility and broad vocal range. The judges raved over his performance, and it was obvious that America was impressed-I personally tried voting for Danny for one whole hour after the show ended, only being able to get through three times.
As many fans expected, Danny made it to the top 12 with flying colors-being voted the top male performer for that night-and message boards have been overflowing with comments about his talent. We are all looking forward to the next performance-the top 12's performance-in just a few weeks.
As with all of his past performances from the days of auditions, Danny will surely continue to entertain audiences across America and seize us with his smooth melodies. Here's to Season 8's big winner.

I think Danny should have won but seeing as what happened last night it's complete crap, but since I'm not a fan of Kris, i think america is looking for something new and fresh which has to be the super talented Adam Lambert, He has a voice that knocks you off your seat. He will be the next American Idol
Yeah, i think Danny has a big chance of winning. Adam, also. The people likes him very much. See how the audience reacts whenever he's on the stage? Especially the girls! Kris Allen is also a good talent. He is consistent and I really like his style. For me, this season's top 3 are Danny Gokey, Adam Lambert and Kris Allen.
I agree with you I also think that Adam is a great possibilty. I don't especially care for his song choices, but he is very talented.
Yeah i agree when i saw his audition i new he was going to make eht now he has an awesome chance of actually winning it but he was in a group of hard guys who are really good .
