Family, Flipped Tables and Prostitution Whores Back for More Drama

Though "The Real Housewives of New York City," practice perfectly coiffed snarkiness and "The Real Housewives of Orange County" feign taking the high road over their botox bitchiness, "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" operate under no such pretenses. These over-the-top ladies had fans eating out of their hands during the inaugural season of the "The Real Housewives of New Jersey," which ranked as the most watched Housewives entry with an average of 2.55 million viewers. The Garden State Housewives return to Bravo on May 3 to stir up more drama and maybe flip a table or two.

While the other cities have welcomed new Housewives during their second seasons, "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" remain intact with all five original cast members returning and no new additions; Sisters Dina and Caroline Manzo, married to brothers and still "thick as thieves"; their sweet sister-in-law, Jacqueline Laurita, who has welcomed a baby since the end of the first season; longtime Manzo family friend, Teresa Giudice, who also had a baby and delivered the penultimate line of any Housewife and interloper, Danielle Staub, the former, model, actress and dancer who rubbed all the women all the wrong way while desperately trying to worm her way into their inner circle.

The Women of Jersey have kept the tabloids hopping since Season One ended. Staub in particular seemed to generate more ink than any of the ladies. She found herself in a confrontation with Laurita's troubled teenage daughter, Ashley Holmes, who pulled out one of Staub's hair extensions (Holmes was given a $189 fine), she declared herself to be a born-again virgin until Mr. Right comes along and her mother died of a stroke in March. Additionally, Staub's new book, "The Naked Truth" is due to be released in May.

Giudice faced troubles of her own when husband, Joe, was charged with a DUI in January 2010. She was also dogged by rumors that the lavish custom-built mansion the family moved into last season was set to go into foreclosure. However, according to the "Star-Ledger," the property in question was another home Giudice owns. Giudice will also release a book, "Skinny Italian," part cookbook, part family album. Laurita and Giudice (along with their husbands and nephew, Albie) also took part in a dinner with Staub's ex-husband, Kevin Maher, subject of a salacious tell-all "Cop Without a Badge," which told of Staub's past (then known as Beverly Merrill) as a stripper strung out on cocaine. During the first season, the book was a catalyst for a showdown between the Housewives and prompted Teresa's infamous "prostitution whore" outburst, accompanied by a ferocious table-flip. According to tweets from the Laurita and Giudice, the dinner provided "clarity" on Staub and proved she was "certifiable."

According to Bravotv.com, viewers can expect more face-offs between Staub and her fellow Housewives, a trip to Italy and a dust-up between Laurita and her sister-in-law, Dina.

Season Two of "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" premieres on Bravo TV at 10 p.m. ET on Monday, May 3.
