A living room is often the only space in a home where an entire family can come together and spend some quality time with each other. Living rooms like these are often less than inviting and rarely provide ample seating for the entire family. If you are married with three children, it is obvious that you need a minimum of five seats to comfortably seat your entire family. Ideally, you will have more than five seats available for use, because you are bound to have house guests over at some point in time. However, if your living room is not large enough to accommodate a large section, the solution to your seating dilemma may come in the form of floor pillows. Floor pillows aren't like the traditional pillows that you place your head on when you go to sleep at night. Floor pillows are generally twice the width of regular bedroom pillows and are much sturdier, made of materials like denim and cotton canvas. Children and teens are big fans of floor pillows because they can comfortable recline against the couch to watch television or lay down on the floor pillow without mom or dad telling them to get up. When not in use, floor pillows can easily be hidden stacked under a coffee table or right behind the couch if your couch is up against a wall. This seating arrangement saves lots of space because the only actual furniture that you need is a couch, floor pillows are simply functional accessories.
