The Pacific Science Center offers two IMAX movie theaters, a planetarium, the Mercer Slough Environmental Education Center, camps, workshops, hikes, the Morphis Movieride Adventure Motion Simulator, the Seattle Laser Dome, a scale model of Puget Sound, butterfly and insect exhibits, a dinosaur exhibit, an outdoor Waterworks exhibit, science and technology exhibits, a saltwater tide pool, Science Demonstration Stage Shows and interactive educational experiences.
The Pacific Science Center also offers high school students the opportunity to explore the science and technology field while learning valuable skills through the Pacific Science Center Discovery Corps program. Beginning as volunteers, students can learn job and life skills and work towards promotion to a paid position with the Pacific Science Center Discovery Corps.
Pay parking is available at many lots in the area and the monorail and several bus routes offer easy access to this great downtown Seattle attraction. There is a small café inside the Pacific Science Center and lots of restaurants within walking distance. Tickets are sold in four different price ranges, depending on age and price lists are available online. For an example of admission prices, one adult between the ages of 13 and 64 would pay $11.00 for admission to exhibits only, an additional $4.00 for the Morphis Movieride Adventure Motion Simulator, $8.00 for a regular IMAX movie, $10.75 for a special engagement IMAX movie, between $5 and $8 for the Seattle Laser Dome laser show, and additional fees for special exhibits (such as the current Lucy's Legacy exhibit, which costs an additional $9.75).

One year memberships start at just $45 and include free admission to permanent exhibits, free guest passes, free IMAX film passes, a 10% discount at the Pacific Science Center store and café, a free subscription to Natural History magazine, discounts on special exhibits, free admission to other science centers around the world and special member previews of new exhibits and films.
