Bed and Breakfasts make for great leisurely getaways that are easy on the pocket book. If you are in the Seattle, Washington, area then you need to consider these 3 Seattle Bed and Breakfasts for your next getaway.

1.The Shafer Baillie Mansion. The Shafer Baillie Mansion bed and breakfast is a Tudor Revival style home found in one of Seattle's most prestigious neighborhoods. Built in 1914 this bed and breakfast has been beautifully restored and has all of the amazing amenities you would expect from a great Seattle Bed and Breakfast. This bed and breakfast offers everything you would want from a turn of the century area bed and breakfast. Hardwood floors, huge open windows, a gorgeous sitting area with a beautiful fireplace are all welcoming features of this classic home. Our room featured a queen bed with huge windows. The Shafer Baillie Mansion bed and breakfast also has standard amenities such as Cable, TV & DVD player, and high speed internet access. Wake up in the morning to an expanded continental breakfast. Rates for our two night stay was about $150 per night.

2. Green Lake Guest House. Located in the Chelsea Station area, if you are looking to stay in a truly luxurious bed and breakfast this is the place for you. Standard amenities such as Cable, TV, and high speed internet are as expected. My wife and I were truly impressed with the level of service we received during our two night stay. If you love staying in bed and breakfasts that have beautiful architecture this bed and breakfast is for you. Rooms are plenty spacious and include private baths. If you need out of your room for a minute make sure and hang out on the patio or take a walk around the beautiful surrounding lake. This Bed and Breakfast is centrally located to the Seattle area so you are close to everything. Our stay for 2 nights cost us $350 bucks and included the customary continental breakfast.

3. Chambered Nautilus Bed and Breakfast Inn. If you are looking to experience a great bed and breakfast near Washington University this is the bed and breakfast for you. This is one of the nicest bed and breakfasts that I have ever stayed in. Parents with students at the University of Washington will be sure to enjoy the ten minute walk to campus. My wife and I loved being able to walk everywhere we needed to go, and when we couldn't walk public transportation was plentiful. The gourmet breakfast was a delight. Our room included a king sized bed and all the amenities you expect such as Cable, TV, and high speed internet service. Rates were as expected for such a nicely equipped bed and breakfast at $130 per night.

Whether you are an experienced bed and breakfast traveler or just new to the scene you will truly enjoy these 3 Seattle bed and breakfasts.
