Officers Reporting: North Precinct

A group of three people were assaulted and robbed in the area of 22nd Avenue NE and NE 47th Street in Seattle. All three were injured in the attack, and the suspects took off towards the University of Washington Greek Row after robbing the victims. Officers arrived, and upon investigating a fraternity house located the three suspects, as well as a 4th man wanted on an outstanding warrant. All four were booked into the King County Jail, with three under investigation for robbery, and the 4th for his outstanding warrant.

Officers Reporting: North Precinct

A cab driver was assaulted by a suspect who owed the driver $10.00 for a cab ride. The assault occurred when the suspect refused to pay for the cab ride, and when confronted by the victim, the driver was pushed to the ground and had threats made upon his life. While down on the ground, the cab driver was punched multiple times, and then took to smashing the windshield of the cab, causing several thousand dollars in damage. The suspect fled from the scene, but when officers arrived, they were able to have the victim identify the suspect in a nearby apartment complex. The suspect was booked for investigation of malicious harassment, investigation of malicious mischief, and investigation of robbery.

Officers Reporting: West Precinct

A driver traveling southbound on the 1200 block of Western Avenue rolled his vehicle while driving at a high rate of speed. The driver hit a light pole before overturning, and SFD Medics responded to find three occupants in the vehicle. The driver was transported to Harborview Medical Center with life-threatening injuries, but the passengers both sustained non-life-threatening injuries. The driver ended up being cited for 3nd degree negligent driving.
