Seattle Seahawks Cheerleader Tryouts

The Seattle Seahawks are having tryouts for anyone wanting to be a part of their "SeaGal" Team, which is the official cheerleading team for the NFL's Seattle Seahawks. There are some basic pieces of information you need to have and simple requirements. After that all you need to do is to obtain an application from the Official SeaGal's website, and fill it out.

Age and Education Requirement: To be a SeaGal for the Seattle Seahawks you must be both 18 years of age or older and have graduated high school with a diploma by August of 2008.

Clothing Required For Tryout: To try out to be a Cheerleader for the Seattle Seahawks "SeaGal" team, you must wear a pair of lycra shorts and either a crop top or bra top to the first trying out April 27th. You also must wear dance or tennis shoes.

Tryout Schedule:

April 27th at 11:00am. You must arrive at Qwest Field's West Club Lounge at this time on the 27th and bring your questionaire and photograph with you. Your photograph is used for identification purposes only and will not be returned to you. When you arrive at this try-out you will be asked to perform a one minute free dance performance. If you have been a SeaGal in the past but were not part of the 2007 SeaGal team you should arrive at 1:00 pm.

April 28th at 6:30 pm: Any SeaGal applicants that were asked to return for the next round, along with all members of the 2007 SeaGal Squad must attend and try out once again at Qwest Field's West Club Lounge. Here you will demonstrate a routine you were taught when you were informed that you would be advancing to this second round of the try-outs to be a SeaGal for the Seattle Seahawks 2008 season. If you make it through this qualification round you will have an interview sometime that week on Wednesday or Thursday night with the judges at a time between 5 and 8 pm.

May 2nd at 6:00 pm at the Ballly's Total Fitness Center in Kirkland: Any applications passing through the interview phase of the qualification must attend session. You will have your photo taken at the beginning of the session so come prepared to have a photo taken of you. You will also learn a routine that you will perform on May 4th as your final qualification for the SeaGal Squad to be a Cheerleader for the Seattle Seahawks during their 2008 season.

May 4th at 4:00 pm at Quest Field's West Club Lounge: You will arrive here and check in at 4:00 pm. The final judging will start at 5:00 pm sharp based on the routine you learned on May 2nd. The judges will make their final decision on this day and will fill the SeaGal Squad for the 2008 Seattle Seahawks NFL season. It is expected that the squad will consist of anywhere from 24-32 members.
