Secluded Beaches of Cote D'Azur in the French Riviera

Jill Veskco
Every year people escape their hectic lives and go on vacations to places with beautiful beaches and wonderful weather. If your from the UK, people pack up their campers on head down to Cote d'Azur for some of the best camping sites. If you decide not to push your way through crowed camp sites, then go just a little further to Cannes and St. Tropez where the beaches are beautiful and secluded.

If your heading to the French Rivera then you'll want to stay at the camp grounds of Port de Crouton Plage. This beach is nearly free of any chaos you may experience at a more popular beach. The soft golden sands and bright blue waters will surely take your breath away. The waters soft tide is gentle enough for families with kids. This beach never gets too crowded so no need to worry about noise. There aren't many activities for you to do on this beach besides sunbath, walk along the beach, and swim through the gentle tides. It's a great place to relax in the sun and enjoy some quiet time.

The next beach is only about 10 minutes away from Monaco and is a great place for adults or couples. The worse thing about this beach is the steep walk you take to get to the bottom of the beach. This is one reason why this beach is best for adults and not crowded. You'll be able to lay on the soft sand and enjoy the heat of the sun or join in on the beach activities. You'll be able to jet ski, snorkel, play volleyball, and cliff dive. This is a great beach with a mature crowd.

If you camp in the Villefranche bay area, then the camp grounds of Plage de Passable is where you'll want to be. The beach is most popular amongst locals who like to go to this beach to swim and sunbathe in quiet. The beach is laid with soft pebble stones and has crystal blue water. Just minutes down the beach is a restaurant and a hiking trail where you'll be able to see homes of famous Hollywood stars. It's a great place to bring the whole family.

In Cap Ferrat, Paloma Plage beach is uncrowded and peaceful since the locals head to the Palome Beach Club. Enjoy the soft golden sand, turquoise water, and beautiful view over the bay. You're missing out if you don't stop at this beach and relax for a day. Not far from here is the Saleccia beach which is located on the island of Corsica. This place is nearly desserted and absolutely gorgeous. You'll be able to catch the ferry to the island from Paloma beach. You're just minutes away from sitting on this white sandy beach with no one around you

Take a trip to any of these beaches and your sure to relax and sunbathe in peace and quiet. Next time your camping trip takes you to Cote d'Azur don't leave without exploring the unchartered beaches.
