Second Honeymoons that Will Save Your Marriage
If You Need to Escape with Your Spouse, Try These Second Honeymoon Spots
1. Blue Sky Cabins, Montana. Check out the Blue Sky Cabins located near Red Lodge Montana. Blue Sky Cabins boasts of quiet serenity, rustic yet luxurious accommodations located in a serene and quiet location. If you just need somewhere to reconnect with that special someone this is the place to do it. Want to make a weekend you will never forget, rent a motorcycle or convertible and enjoy an open air ride up to this beautiful part of the country. Our 2 night stay ran us about $300 dollars.
2. Caesar's Pocono Mountain Resort. Caesar's Pocono Mountain Resort is nestled in the heart of the Pocono Mountains in Pennsylvania, and is the perfect place for a second honeymoon. Upon arrival we were whisked away in our love chariot across this vast resort. The food was fabulous as we dined with couples from all over the United States. The menu each evening was a variety of chef prepared meals, breakfast in bed was a treat, and the dessert bar at midnight was awesome. The entertainment was great as we were fortunate enough to be there during a comedy showcase. And the rooms truly are for the couple looking to add a little spark back into their relationship. We stayed in the Champagne Suite that featured a 7 foot tall champagne bath tub. Our room also included a heart shaped pool and a fireplace that is perfect for cuddling. There are plenty of activities to enjoy while on site: putt putt, ice skating, hiking, and archery are just a sampling of the things you can do while visiting Caesar's Pocono Mountain Resort. Cost for our week ran us about $1500 but weekends can be had for about $500 and is all inclusive.
Niagara Falls. New York's Niagra falls may seem like an unusual pick for a second honeymoon, but the hotel I am suggesting is definitely for those desiring a secluded weekend in a great hotel. If you have never experienced the power of Niagara Falls then you need a hotel that lets you experience Niagara every minute of your stay. The Oakes Hotel is the perfect choice for a hotel at Niagara Falls. They offer stunning views of the falls. Some rooms even offer you a view from your couch or bed. The rooms are moderately equipped, and feature everything you would need for a weekend. There is plenty to do in Niagara Falls, and plenty of great places to eat. My suggestion is to skip everything but Niagara Falls as it is truly an overwhelming sight both day and night. The hotel also offers entertainment at different times of the year, we unfortunately did not make the country and western show. Our romance package included two gourmet dinners, a king room with a falls view, and a 2 nights stay. Rates for the 2 night romance package was about $300.
Green Lake Guest House. Located in Seattle Washington's Chelsea Station area, if you are looking to stay in a truly luxurious bed and breakfast for your second honeymoon this is the place. Standard amenities such as Cable, TV, and high speed Internet are as expected. My wife and I were truly impressed with the level of service we received during our two night stay. If you love staying in bed and breakfasts that have beautiful architecture this one is for you. Rooms are plenty spacious and include private baths. If you need out of your room for a minute make sure and hang out on the patio or take a walk in the beautiful surrounding area. This Bed and Breakfast is centrally located to the Seattle area so you are close to everything. Our stay for 2 nights cost us $350 bucks and included the customary continental breakfast.
Savannah Georgia. Savannah Georgia offers some of the best in romantic charm for those looking for a second honeymoon. Hang out at one of the local bed and breakfasts, or book one of the many 5 star hotels. My suggestion for the ultimate in romance would be the Courtyard Savannah in the historic district. While in Savannah make sure and take one of the river cruises. Be sure and take your special someone over to Paula Deans for the best Southern Cooking you will ever have.
Now grab your credit card and book your room, its time to enjoy some second honeymoons.

Post a CommentWonderful ideas! We're still reeling from Empty Nest.
These places sound beautiful. We'll have to keep them in mind for both our FIRST AND second honeymoon! ; )
I need a vacation maybe a second honeymoon.. Or the first!
We just had an anniversary and I was dying to do something special, but Mr. Canary is so paranoid about finances right now, it was all I could do to drag him out to dinner. I will have to refer back to this wonderful list when the economy recovers!
I like your picks :)
