Secret Love Affair

Melissa B
He is unable to avert his stare
He can see it, sweet temptation, just there
Out of reach
A gap that only pure hearted want can breach
He needs to feel the supple curves
Taste the sweetness of the skin
To give the care so much deserved
To that bit of sin
He steals into the meadow
Where none are supposed to go
To find satisfaction
To find the answer to temptation
They race off together - not wanting discovery!
To collapse over the hill, hidden from sight
Such sweet revelry
As off the apple, he takes the first bite.

Melissa Burns, this is good work. I like the way it nearly sang in my head as I read it.
