Secretary Clinton: "Terrorist Trials Are Political Theater For Terrorism Obsessed Americans"

In an interview with NBC's David Gregory on Meet The Press, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton admits "Terrorist trials are political theater for terrorism obsessed Americans." Folks, this is the problem...not Clinton's admission, but the Obama Administration's position. Everything this administration has embarked upon since day one has been either political theater or progressive wish list installation. Despite all the hopey change chatter, we need neither political theater or progressivism.

The TSA pat downs are more of the same. We don't need acting...we need ACTION. There is a difference. All we've seen since January 20, 2009 is political theater and progressive wish lists. This nation needs a great deal less of both and a much needed infusion of common sense that will hopefully shoo away all this hopey change nonsense. This is political correctness straight down the line. Will this administration ever quit playing games?

Quantitative Easing is the "feel good, take the easy way out, make it look like you're doing something," method if one ever existed. The piper will be paid and the longer we delay paying the SOB the worse it's gonna be. QE2 will not keep the wolves at bay for long and they will be more hungry later than they are now.

As has been opined in the ether, what happens to TSA pat downs and intrusive scanners when the terrorists begin inserting the Semtex in their rectums before boarding a plane? Don't chuckle...this has happened already when a terror bomber tried to blow up a member of the Saudi Royal Family. He blew his own ass up...pun of course intended, but did not kill his target. So, what will the TSA do when a bomber does successfully conceal their Semtex bomb in their colon and do succeed in downing a plane?

Will we then be subject to cavity searches? X-rays like at the doctor's office? Where does it end? This is more of the "All show, no go," positioning of this administration - nothing more. This is about APPEARING to be concerned, engaged, out in front of the issue, etc. Reality is it's PC positioning, show trials and making it look like the TSA is doing something important. We don't need theater.

Clearly the terror trial of the African Embassy bomber is living proof of the asininity of terror trials in the American civilian justice system. All of this and the killer gets convicted on ONE count of conspiracy? Hell, a nickel for a .22 long rifle slug behind his ear and this problem is solved! No, instead we will spend millions on a trial, millions on security and how much to inter this murderer for the next 60 years? One little nickel is all a .22 long rifle slug costs...a measly little nickel!

All this administration has done since they arrived was whatever they thought made them look good or whatever worked to further entrench progressive ideology in our nation's economy, government and society. Take Obama's scolding Bobby Jindal during the Gulf oil spill deal. Obama did not ask how he could help. No, instead he was mad and scolded Jindal to "not make him [Obama] look bad." (paraphrased) It's all show. It's all entertaining us under the Big Top. Where was the concern for the "environmental disaster" that turned out to be far less worse than the naysayers warned us? All show. All political theater.

Not that I am the first to forward this, but Israel's airline El Al, PROFILES, and it works great. But we can't profile...doesn't "look" good...isn't PC...might offend a damned foreigner. Yeah, well feeling up children offends me! Blowing up airplanes and killing civilians offends me! Spending millions to secure and try terrorists who CONFESSED offends me! Quantitative easing offends me!

Sorry to be so non-PC but I don't give a damn what a foreign national thinks of profiling. I don't give a damn what the ACLU thinks about it. I don't give a rat's ass as to what progressives who seemingly hate this nation think of profiling. Protecting American's is the job of this government and for that to happen they must drop the PC theater. Jumping through hoop after hoop in order to make it look like all that can be done is being done is a false sense of security. It's theater!

Tell ya what. Instead of trying to placate with PC all these idiots, why don't we just put them on the planes with the terrorists? Why don't we only use QE2 on the progressives who think it's a good idea, when the whole world...ya know, the socialist nations all over the globe, scream for Obama to NOT do it? Why don't we try the terrorists in the hometowns of progressives? Better yet, why don't we just x-ray progressives to death? Let's see what is inside of them that makes them hate this nation so damned much. Betcha the radiation would kill 'em long before we could see whatever it is inside of them that makes them seemingly so damned un-American.
