Secrets of Area 51

Steven Symes
Area 51 has long been the source of speculation in the UFO conspiracy world. Rumors about captured alien craft and even alien beings -alive and dead -- stored at the government installation have circulated for decades. Area 51 has been woven into the fabric of our society as it has been featured in works of fiction, songs, and countless jokes.

Now some Area 51 veterans are speaking out about what has been hidden deep in the recesses of the secretive Nevada facility. According to an article that recently appeared in local newspaper the Desert News, these veterans who finally can say something about their work in Area 51 claim nothing alien or out-of-this-world exists in Area 51.

Yes, that's right, nothing alien.

What about the infamous UFO crash in Roswell, New Mexico? Some have claimed the wreckage and alien crew (both dead and alive) were taken by the government to Area 51. These veterans say the only thing that is secret at Area 51 was made entirely by humans.

It is doubtful this new revelation will sway UFO conspiracy fans, and hopefully these Area 51 vets do not think it will. Just the mere fact these men worked for the federal government discredits them in some people's minds. After all, this could be another ploy in the grand scheme of the government to convince the United States populous aliens do not exist.

According to one of the Area 51 vets, though, he did participate in a cover up involving a crashed A-12 airplane. Witnesses of the crash were paid off to keep them quiet about the then-secret spy plane.
So what is housed in Area 51 now? That could be anyone's guess, considering the A-12 and perhaps anything else housed in Area 51 during the veterans' time there is no longer a secret. Perhaps the government does have flying saucers and tall, green men filing around the hallways of one of the buildings. Or, perhaps a new generation spy plane is kept under wraps.

Area 51 is sure to continue to fuel the imagination of the public. Any time secret government activity takes place, there are those who are compelled to speculate what is really going on versus what the government claims. It is unlikely the government will ever completely reveal the secrets of Area 51. For now people have to be content with the juicy secrets of the past, while the present secrets remain under wraps.

I think that these so-called “former employees” are nothing but government plants. Nice article.
