Also, as with the law of gravity, one does not need to be aware of it to be influenced by it; under its control even.
The secret is to realize this and make it work for you!
"Great. But how?" you may ask.
First, become aware of your thoughts. This can be the most difficult step.
Once you can begin to acknowledge the thoughts you are having, you can begin to control them.
Controlling your thoughts is the key to the law of attraction.
An important part of this process is gratitude.
You can keep a list of things that make you happy and read them or perhaps keep a running tab in your head. I like to spontaneously give thanks. This, for me, heightens the feelings that go with gratitude and appreciation.
You should really feel the feelings of gratitude. Be truly thankful to have these things or people or situations in your life. Really feel it in your heart.
Then begin to imagine already having the things or situations you want and being grateful for having them.
I was in love with someone with whom I thought I could never have a life. For 10 years, I was right. Then I learned about visualization and the law of attraction. Every day, I gave thanks for the things in my life for which I was already grateful. Then I began to see myself talking with this person. I began to be grateful to be with him.
I did an online search for him many times which turned up old information. Then one day, I tried again. I did the same things I had been doing for weeks, but on this day a new link appeared. It was a link to a newsletter from a Chamber of Commerce. I opened it and there stood the man I loved and directly underneath his picture was his phone number. Five minutes later, we were discussing our love for each other and our desire to be together. Less than a month later, we have moved into an apartment together and are planning to be married. We are in a state of bliss. We give thanks every day. I am truly grateful to be with him.
We had both visualized it so many times and truly felt the euphoria of being together that when we finally faced each other, it was as if it had happened many times before.
This is the secret to having anything you want. You must convince your mind that it is already yours. Speak into the Universe your gratitude for having it. Do it every day. Then go on with your day as if it's already happening.
Live your life knowing it is happening. Imagine the things you would do if this thing were happening and do them.
The results will astound you.
