Seductive Lady

Or, a Fly in My Coffee

Susan Elliott
Dainty feet slip silently across
the scribbled page,
moving stealthily towards a coffee lake.

Her white lace dress barely covers
her body. It drapes seductively
exposing glimpses of chocolate colored skin.

She continually licks her dry lips,
again, and again.
Expectant;
like a lover awaiting a kiss

Her two large eyes are masked by gold and
gaze longingly into the caramel deep.
A soft hum, like a maestro touching his bow
breaks the silence.
