Natalie Portman is having a banner year and her unique ring reflects the joy she must feel. Newly engaged, pregnant, and winning awards for her work in film have put Portman in the spotlight lately.
Her fiancé, Benjamin Millepied, went to jewelry designer Jamie Wolf for help in creating a unique ring for Natalie and considered her "sensibilities" according to a report by In Style.

The ring has an antique diamond in the center and is surrounded by a diamond encrusted design. The band is made of recycled platinum with conflict-free stones. (According to Earthdivasblog.com, conflict-free stones mean that the diamonds are not mined in war zones and thus, won't result in the finance of warfare by rebel factions which often control the mines.)

Jodie Sweetin who played Stephanie Tanner in the 1990's sitcom 'Full House' is engaged to Morty Coyle who proposed to her during her January 18th birthday party in Los Angeles.
Sweetin and Coyle have a daughter together, Beatrix Carlin Sweetin Coyle, who was born on August 31, 2010.
Coyle gave Sweetin a 2 ½ carat oval sapphire ring with 18 diamonds around it from Erwin Hesz jewelers. The ring which is strikingly similar to the one wore by the late Princess Diana and now Kate Middleton, was not purchased because of the connection to royalty; rather, Sweetin told People said Coyle remarked how it reminded him of her eyes. Aww...how sweet!
