See No News, Hear No News, Speak No News?

Deal with it when You Grow Up?

LarrWayne Po
I heard news,
I don't like,
So I'll just quit listening?

Who is easy to outwit,
But the uninformed,
Talked out of knowing
Just about anything
Worth repeating
In reference to news?

The library has some books,
I do not like.
So what should I do?

A Left Ear Heard the Question.
Are you asking me
For my advice?
It's about time.

Simply don't go there
You have an excuse
Not to read.
I will vouch for you;
That's all the reason,
You need.

Isn't it relaxing,
Not having to do research?
We will do it for you.
You don't have to learn.

Just sit back,
And play dead,
While waiting for your check.
But don't forget,
On election day,
Neglect your other chores.
Vote again for us,
The ones you adore.

In the 21st century, the opportunity to learn how politicians perform their job after the elections are over, is very much a possibility with the invent of the Internet. Asking for perfect leaders is pushing things a bit too far, but let's get the best in office we can, if feasible. Whoever you vote for needs a lot of information, as well as the often overlooked capability of using common sense, to serve their country well. Good luck in your hunt for the best leaders.

Any sincere politicians that want to help America, need to know the strategies for a better country, such as those proposed by Dr. Paul, for example. Many that choose to not look into the matter, because someone likely misquoted a paragraph by Dr. Paul, are possibly guilty of simulating a knee jerk reaction.

Some people appear to enjoy a relaxed state of being brain washed. The uninformed have the right to be lazy and remain ignorant still. This is a freedom that is often abused. Whether or not Dr. Paul is your guy, many of his ideas are good to know.

LarrWayne, AKA Quack Jack of many trades. If the educated do not educate others, the long term pay back will be "We are surrounded by the uneducated and they want to rule over us". Politically incorrect poem...  View profile

News is, I suspect, whatever we hear that we choose to believe. Objective reality? I think not.
