See Saw
Life is like a roller coaster.
One minute, you're cool, the next you're in a roaster.
Up one minute, down another
The peaks are wonderful, but the valleys are a mother.
When I'm up, I soar like an eagle
Looking down on all the beautiful people.
It's wonderful to float on air.
Spreading my wings, I fly with no cares.
I feel like life just can't go wrong.
And in my heart, there's a joyful song.
But, when my life is filled with storms
There are no loving arms to keep me warm.
When it's time for war, there is no alarm
And no one to shelter me from harm.
This up and down motion has left me raw.
Will I never get off of life's see saw?
