The "Family Guy" creator dropped the F-bomb while talking to E!'s Giuliana Rancic Sunday, during the network's "Live From The Reds Carpet" coverage of the 61st Annual Primetime Emmy Awards.

This live, on-air four letter faux pas comes on the heels of Fox Television anchor Ernie Anastas letting the "F word" fly on a live broadcast last Wednesday evening. If you watch the Ernie Anastas video, you'll see why people are still talking about it. Watching professional news anchor Ernie Anastas tell weatherman Nick Gregory to "keep f**king that chicken" is something everyone should do at least once. Everyone over the age of, say, 16, at least...

Back to Seth MacFarlane's red carpet F-bomb. Poor Giuliana Rancic looked horrified following Macfarlane's on-air musing, "What the f**k?". Rancic playfully smacked Mac Farlane, saying, "Did you just cuss? You're so bad! Just because it's cable doesn't mean you can say the f-word!!" And she's right. Many people never use this word; though its likely many more use it on a daily basis. Even this exact phrase. However, on live television, in the middle of the afternoon, standing on the red carpet of the Emmy's? Hmm...probably not MacFarlane's best moment.

I just want to go watch the Ernie Anastas video, and watch him use profanity to accuse Nick Gregory of performing horrible acts on farm foul on live television, and see the startled look come across Giuliana Rancic's face as Seth MacFarlane breaks FCC rules at the 2009 Emmy's, likely without even meanng to, and certainly not caring that he did after the fact.

During MacFarlane's post-Emmy's, E! News interview, the "Family Guy" creator sent the following message to Rancic: "You give a f**king fantastic interview, Giuliana, you--you beautiful f**k!".
