My husband and I retired to Atlanta, Georgia 5 years ago. Through trial and error wrong turns and information gathered from family and friends, we have learned much about the city of Atlanta and had always promised ourselves that we would take a tour of the city to round out our education about our new city of residence. One June day, my husband and I made reservations for the Electric car shuttle tour of Atlanta. We arrived at the the Atlanta Vistors' Center located across the street from the Underground (a shopping area) where reservations were made for the electric car shuttle Atlanta tour. We made our reservations online from the comfort of our home and all was ready on the day of our tour.
The staff of the Visitors' Center and the tour guide are personable, eager to help and ready to make your tour memorable. The tour is scheduled three times each day at 1 pm 3pm and 7pm. The company has the right to cancel the trip in the event of inclement weather and of course your money is refunded or can be applied to a future trip. The trip lasts 75 minutes and as you ride through the different sections of Atlanta, you receive a wealth of information about the city and its history. Atlanta had two names before it was finally determined to name the city Atlanta because of its proximity to the Atlantic Ocean. The famous Inman Park section of Atlanta with its beautiful Victorian homes was especially interesting as was the sweet Auburn district of Atlanta where Martin Luther King, Jr. lived. Many more sites were pointed out on the electric car shuttle tour.
Private event shuttle tours can be arranged. Call 678-802-9477 or toll free 1-877-497-4774. Additional information can be obtained by viewing the website www.atlcruzers.com.
I recommend that you consider touring Atlanta by electric car shuttle as part of your visit to the city. Hopefully, you will find it to be as enlightening as we did.
