Seek and Find

Jean Davis
So many people seem to be searching.
Some trying to find themselves they say.
They're just not looking in the right places.
They go so far out of the way.
While they are taking all the wrong roads
there is Someone just waiting for them.
He watches as they turn away.
They have no time for Him.
But one day they come to a detour.
Actually it looks as if the road ends.
They still haven't found themselves and
when they look around they have no friends.
I have good news for anyone in that situation.
Listen closely you'll hear Someone say," Turn
around. I'm just where you left Me. I'm only a prayer away.
The way back is so much closer.
See My arms open wide?
I hope you realize, my child, you'll find youself
when you find Me and walk with Me side by side.
