Love isn't something you say, it's what you do
It's exhibited in your actions, that's where it's proved
Love allows you to see past what someone does
See their heart in the matter, where their intent was
Love looks past their hurt and feels their pain
Invites another in their heart, never remaining the same
Love causes you to be patient, helps you understand
Is moved by compassion, extends a forgiving hand
Love produces assurance, leaves you feeling secure
It's not putting up with another nor do you merely endure
Love identifies with what is buried deep inside
Undergoes what's not easy, stands by their side
Love is a verb, a choice, conscious decision made
Choosing the road less traveled, even if afraid
Love commits to journey, regardless of mood
Has resilience, gives courage and provides fortitude
Love doesn't run when things become complicated
It's loyal, doesn't give up when slightly irritated
Love pushes past pain and tussles through tears
Never quits or drops out, faces it's fears
Love remains through rough periods, can stand the rain
Believes and hopes the best, love never wanes
Love values and regards another above what may come
Doesn't settle on what's easy, it can't be undone
Love can be unspoken as it's seen in every movement
Commitment, in essence, is where love is proven
It's exhibited in your actions, that's where it's proved
Love allows you to see past what someone does
See their heart in the matter, where their intent was

Awsome! Thanks for provoking a renewal on my perspective with my relationships with my wife. She loves to just hold hands sometimes...I am going to hold her hand today.
You never cease to amaze me. You hit it right on the head. Now I want to go hug my husband.
Well Done! We tend to forget that Love is a verb not merely a feeling.
