Selena Gomez has been forced to cancel several appearances due to strained vocal chords, according to this news release from the Ohio Expo Center.

Gomez, the star of Ramona and Beezus, has rescheduled her appearance at the 2010 Ohio State Fair under physician's orders. The Selena Gomez concert will now be held on November 6, 2010 in the Celeste Center at the Ohio Expo Center in Columbus. Tickets for the Ohio State Fair show will be honored on the new date.

For those fans holding tickets for the Selena Gomez show who are unable to make the November 6 date, full refunds will be made at the point of purchase. As another perk for Gomez fans, the Ohio State Fair will honor free admission to the fair for all ticket-holders on any day during the Fair's July 28-August 8 run.

Tween favorite Gomez, who just turned 18 years old, stars in her own Disney Channel series "Wizards of Waverly Place" and had made several guest appearances on "Hannah Montana" and "The Suite Life of Zach & Cody". Her new CD "A Year Without Rain" is scheduled for release September 21, 2010.
