Self Suggestion Can Influence Positive Habits

People go through life doing in things that they don't necessarily want to do, but just do not know how to their change habits. People go to hypnotists to accomplish things such as to lose weight, quit smoking, or to just influence more positive habits on themselves overall. Those of us who want to change our habits but can't afford to see a hypnotist, are able influence more positive habits on ourselves and get rid of those old, bad habits through simple self suggestion.

Self suggestion is the self influencing of one's subconscious mind. The subconscious mind is the part of the mind that stores habits. The smokers craving for a cigarette or the thought that tells them they must have one to feel better, comes from the subconscious mind. Self suggestion, which has also been called self hypnotism or auto suggestion, is the way we communicate with our subconscious minds using the conscious mind.

The thoughts that we let dominate our minds are the suggestions that reached our subconscious minds and influence our thought process. Humans have control over what reaches the subconscious minds. The problem is that we do not exercise this control, or just don't know how to exercise this control. This explains man's circumstances such as poverty, prosperity, failure, and success.

The subconscious mind is similar to a garden. If we don't plant more desirable seeds in abundance, weeds will spring up and overtake the plants we desire to grow. For example, if you desire lots of money, you have to be able to see yourself with it or think that you already have it. Saying to yourself out loud that you already have it and doing so on a regular basis will transfer it to your subconscious mind. Then you will be what is called money conscious, and those of us who are money conscious attract money from many different places. It is that simple. Through repetition of that process you help transfer those desirable thoughts to your subconscious mind, and plant positive seeds, that cause you to become a magnet for those desires through nature.

Speaking your desires out loud alone won't be enough if you don't feel what you're saying emotionally. Mixing positive emotions with the spoken word gives power to that word. When we hear a music artist sing a song, the more emotion they put behind their words, the more we actually believe their words. Your subconscious mind works the same way.

Something good that you can start doing for yourself immediately, is write out a statement, that is filled with desirable or favorable characteristics and habits that you want to develop, as well as bad ones you want to get rid of, and say it to yourself out loud every single day. Reading your statement out loud to yourself, will cause its content to transfer to your subconscious mind, which will eventually bring you your more favorable desires.
