Self-Esteem and the Job Search

You have a winning resume, and the employer needs to know it. You're resume will make you stand out and prove that you're worthy of the job and have the skills to handle the work involved.

Employers want to hire candidates with lots of assertion and determination. People with self-esteem tend to be fairly assertive and determined. Self-esteem also shows that you feel good about yourself and have a positive attitude. Remember, you do want to be enthusiastic but you do not want to come off as over eager.
