Recently as I was cleaning out my home, I decided to turn my trash into cash. I know in states such as New Jersey, used clothing stores that buy your used clothes are very rare to find. Here in Tucson, Arizona it is exactly the opposite. Below are 13 resale shops that buy, trade and/or sell by consignment:

I recently visited this store for the first time, to try and sell some adult old clothes and I absolutely love the shop. The girl who works there (not sure if she is the owner) is very sweet and personable. She took care of us right away and what I like about this shop compared to most others, is that they give you top dollar cash for your adult used clothes; most other resale shops give you credit, or little cash. They sell a huge amount of adult - women's and men's, vintage clothes from 1870s - 1970s, jewelry, accessories, linens/fabrics and costumes (to rent also). This is a really cool shop. They buy and sell brand name teen and young adult clothing - off season styles too. They pay cash and you can also get a customer appreciation card: for every $10 that you spend or sell to them you get a stamp on your card, and when it's full you'll get 20% off of your next purchase. They buy, sell and trade children's clothing, toys and furniture. They will give you 50% of the selling price in store trade, or 25% in cash. On bigger items they give 50% in cash, or 55% in store trade. Hours:
