Selling Houseplants - Ease of Acquisition
If you have a green thumb, acquiring houseplant to sell at the flea market should be easy. Begin by purchasing some popular houseplants from a shop. These can include spider plants, rubber trees, and pathos vine. Choose plants that are easy to propagate. You can also start with cuttings from friends' plants or ones you already own. Other than the plants, all you need is a sunny window, a small greenhouse or sun room, and some rooting hormone.
Selling Houseplants - Flea Market Display
Once you propagate new houseplants for sale, you need a way to display them at the flea market. You can purchase small plastic pots at garden supply center. Plant some of the small houseplants in these pots or offer them with their roots in plastic bags. Set these small pots or sacks inside plastic trays or just on the flea market table. You can also purchase or make risers out of wood or plastic so the plants in the back are higher than those in the front.
How you display the houseplants on your flea market table in various ways. It is a good idea to display some large houseplants on the table. This will attract plant lovers to your table as well as give an indication of what the adult plant will look like.

Along with selling the houseplants at the flea market, you can also offer some associated products. Selling attractive plastic or ceramic plant pots will increase profits. You can also sell small watering cans, attractive plant pot stakes, and houseplant care information. If you can find a good wholesale supplier, selling houseplant fertilizer is another great idea. Anything you can think of that can be associated with houseplants and gardening will bring you increase profits.
Selling houseplants at the flea market is a great idea for anyone who enjoys propagating and growing plants. Increasing your profits is easy with more houseplant varieties and products that pertain to growing plants.
