Sell What You Know

Rosa Hayes
You turn the television on to find that someone has invented a new product and they are making money off of this. The product is easy and is something that you could have thought of if you would have only tried, so why didn't you? Inventing a product takes time, selling what you know, can be almost instant money.

We see e-books all the times that claim to help us to figure out a problem and we purchase these because we assume that the author knows something that we don't know. We want to know their secret and how they accomplished that one thing. What would happen if we were to sell what we know?

As the author of a few e-books, I decided to sell what I know for profit because I have a certain knowledge base that others are looking for. Everyone knows something and they can create an e-book to capture what they know and to sell it for a profit.

I once seen a lady who wrote an e-book based off of her blog. Her blog was on parenting tips and the e-book captured all of what she knew in a few pages. The e-book was great and had a lot of detail in it. It also had links to her blog which created more income for her when people would visit her blog and click on the adsense that she had displaying.

Articles can also create a great e-book. Most people will often find themselves writing about the same niche even when they don't realize it. I often write on different topics but the one topic that I write a lot about it parenting. If you were to sell these articles as non-exclusive and then add them into an e-book, this would mean more profit for you. There are different ways that you can do this. One way would be to create an e-book that had links to the articles and another way would be for you to take the same articles and rewrite them to create a spin-off from your previous articles.

Creating this type of income will also help you to create multiple streams of income when you continue to sell the e-books. Multiple streams of income is what you want to do in order to work from home and make constant money. Once you get the money flowing in, you will want to keep at it until you build your income to the amount that you want.

Good idea. I have a couple ebooks but marketing is my downfall. How about an article on how to market ebooks?
