Sell and Trade Your Unwanted Gift Cards Online!

C.B.
Got a gift card for Christmas that you're not so interested in using? You wish you could've received one from your favorite store, right? We've all been there before. Man, I hate those no return policies.. Well no more wondering what to do with your unwanted gift cards! Here's some sites that will help you out with this. With the Internet you can sell just about anything, including your unwanted gift cards! What other options would you have besides hunting people down to ask them to buy your gift card? This is probably your best bet for getting rid of them. So, no more receiving unwanted gift cards and wondering "what in the world am I gonna do with this?" Now, when you get a gift card from a store you're not that excited about, instead of complaining, you'll be smiling and saying thanks. Then turn around and sell or trade it for the gift card or cash you really want.

-If you're looking for a websites to sell or trade your gift cards, I recommend:
Plastic Jungle, or http://www.swapagift.com/. No, it's not Ebay (Which, they'd probably rip you off on Ebay for your gift cards, anyways.). These two sites were created specially just for gift card exchanges, buying, selling, and auctions. These websites allow you to post your unwanted gift card's information on line, to either auction it off, or set a price to which you would like to sell it for. Believe me, I have used these sites many of times, and there's always someone who will buy it. It might take a little while at first, but gift cards really are a hot seller. Especially when they can just purchase one offline instead of going to the actual store. You might even get a discount on this website, if you're looking to buy a gift card. You might be able to get a good deal by buying it for a lower value than what it really is. I bought a $50 Victoria's secret gift card for only $39 in an on line auction. You can't beat that deal.

You can also trade gift cards with someone on line, which is another exclusive feature of these websites! It works both ways with this feature. Get the gift card you want for the store you want, and they can get theirs. It's very neat, and I really liked the idea when I heard of it. Whoever created this websites is a true genius. There's tons of people that get gift cards that they don't want, or don't need. These websites were made especially for when times like that come around! So you can enjoy a new gift card, and some one else can enjoy the gift card you didn't want.

-If you're wanting cash for your gift card, I recommend:
http://www.giftcardbuyback.com/.
This website allows you to send in your gift cards to them, and in return they'll send you cash! It's not a scam, it's 100% real, and 100% safe. It's for people just like you who simply don't want their gift cards. I would choose cash over gift cards any day, because with cash, you're not limited to just one store (That's what I hate about gift cards the most). *You might not get exactly the same amount of what you send in, but you'll get something pretty close to it. I sent in my $30 Barne's and Noble gift card, and received $27 back. Not bad. At least I didn't have to spend the $27 at Barne's and Noble. There's nothing that I really wanted from the store at that time, so I don't know what I would've done with it if I hadn't sent it in to this site. I'd take cash over gift card any day, so that way I can choose to buy from the stores I want. When they take off the 4%, It's not that they're trying to keep some of your money by not giving you the 100%; the percentage they send you back varies from store to store. So you might have like 97% of what's on your card, but that's only a few dollars difference, so what? If you don't like this idea, you'd be better off with selling or trading them.

I was thinking about selling a gift card to Plastic Jungle because it sounds like a good deal, but when I did a search of the site first I found some complaints against them. I've never sold any gift cards before so maybe I'm just being overly cautious. Maybe I'll look into giftcardbuyback.com like you suggust. Thanks!
