Semen is Good for Your Complexion and Other Myths Created by Men
Let's Find Out If It's Scientific
I was surfing the Internet recently and came across a discussion board at "Bestlifeonline.com" I finished one topic and was about to leave the site when I happened on something that caught my interest. One gentleman put a question on that intrigued me, so I continued to read further. He noted that his girlfriend wanted to kiss "deeply" after he had climaxed in her mouth and was concerned that the semen would be dangerous if he got some in his.
Most of the men said that it wasn't and that it was actually good for you. One poster, obviously a female, called him a name and wondered why he didn't worry about his girlfriend when he thought it was dangerous and requested oral sex. I applauded that remark. It intrigued me as I read on.
Was ingestion of semen good for the body? As I recall everyone that ever told me that it was, was male. Did they really believe it? Obviously the gentleman that asked the question earlier in the post had not. Several posted that it was high in protein and certainly should be good for you. One said that it was good for the complexion because of all the nutrients, if applied to the skin. I decided that no one there really knew, so I set out to find the answer elsewhere.
According to "Tomigion.com" applying semen directly to the skin can tighten the skin as it dries, much like egg white. The unfortunate part of this is also noted. Once the semen is washed off, the taught skin goes back to its original shape, wrinkles and all. Why would any woman under 40 need a beauty aid like that? Why would any woman over 40 want to wear it all day? The article at "Tomigion.com" does note that a reader wrote in to say that there was "an abundance of natural lipids and essential amino acids and prostaglandins, natural substances which aid in skin repair and increase blood flow bringing in more nutrients to the to the skin." The flaw with the theory is that it needs to penetrate the skin and it can't do that without the addition of an adjuvant. Most facial creams will list the adjuvants when discussing the benefits of the additives and the contents of the cream. An example of that is the "Louis-Widmer Website"; which gives a list of all the active ingredients and adjuvants that make them work. Semen doesn't contain any.
Are there dangers? Heck yes. If you don't know your partners health history there are STD's that could be contracted through small cuts that may be on the skin or go directly into the system if ingested.
"Viceland.com", an adult site for the online magazine "Vice", did an experiment for a month. A male and female both participated in the experiment. Both put semen on one side of their face and moisturizer on the other. The result was that the male felt that it improved his skin and the woman felt that it dried hers and would never allow any semen to touch it again. The difference?
He had sensitive skin, most probably oily from the picture. The moisturizer would aggravate the condition and the potential of a reaction was high. Using his own bodily fluid would not create an allergic reaction. So gentlemen, it's okay for you to wipe it on your own face. There is also a question about the effects of the donors diet.
That solves it. There is no biological reason that application is good for the skin. So any of the men out there getting ready to apply for a job at the semen cream factory can put there resume away.
There has never been a study that has proven ingesting semen was good for you. While it contains proteins and some vitamins and minerals, there isn't enough available to change your health in any manner and the potential of contracting a sexual disease is high.

Women and children that are sexual abuse victims are asking for it and that, some how, it makes it more acceptable. I have read this recently and it "burned my ass" if you will excuse the Bernie Mac expression. What does that mean? Date rape may occur after necking? Was she asking for it? No more than the guy walking with hundred dollar bills in his pocket is asking to be robbed. If the same people that defend the rapist with that line were withdrawing money at an ATM and were robbed and someone said they were asking for it because they shouldn't have had money, would they feel that a rightful excuse for their robber? I need say no more. Those that still believe this myth are idiots and probably can't read anyhow.

Women like men that treat them poorly. Come on guys. You know that this is true in some cases, just like some women like fat men and some women like skinny ones. Healthy women like men that like themselves and can therefore show love to others.

Women are not as capable in handling management positions because they become insane once a month.
Most women that have cramps will get grouchy and hormones will cause fluctuations in moods. The average woman that has fought herself to the position of management has the same control over her emotions as men that have done the same. You may not feel that great, but you don't let it stop your performance. Luckily this myth is dying slowly but surely.

Post a CommentI don't completely agree with Brad, but he makes some logical sense...like nice guys finish last. Because the cocky guys don't really want you, you want them. Where as, the guys that would treat you right, most of you don't respect. I see it time and again, I got a buddy, that fits the cocky guy description, and he keeps getting chicks with abusive pasts... and its all because HE is an abusive guy, he makes himself look like the chivalrous one, but hey its a lot easier to beat the crap out of your abusive ex, than it is to win you over through a courtship ritual! And then the same episode continues. The guys that fawn over you, aren't worth your time, and equally so the guys you fawn over just want to get their dicks wet...its not men vs women its wanting what you cant have...and thats the truth! Hey it doesnt stop me from trying to be the nice guy, i will find a nice chick, that's attractive too, it just takes a while to sift through the skanks.

The author said some women as in the word SOMMMMEEEE. That means that not all women want that, but there are those that do like there are men who gravitate to women who do the same.
For anyone who says well I'm not like that I wouldn't nor any woman want to stay in a relationship that long etc. That's you hon! You! You don't represent all women. Just because you might not want that or like that doesn't mean that another woman wouldn't!

No one said women like to be treated badly-- they LOVE it, which means that they keep coming back whether they like it or not. For whatever reason, it's the truth, that women don't treat men with equal respect: and men who respect women, are never more than "friends." Anyone who denies this, is IN denial.
What's that? You MEANT to write that "confindent, mentally secure women do not like to be treated badly"?
Well what percentage of ATTRACTIVE women fit this description? And what is the proportionality of attractiveness to self-confidence? I assure you it's LOW and NEGATIVE. Therefore it IS in a man's best interest to treat women like crap, unless he's ALSO insecure and likes UGLY women.
(I love it when women say "well not ALL women..." yeah, just MOST of the the most ATTRACTIVE ones.)

No duh, detective-- what part of "SEXUALLY transmitted disease," tipped you off to THAT one? Maybe one shouldn't be having SEX with them in the first place? And contrary to Bill Clinton, anything involving semen IS sex.
How about some myths that WOMEN say, like "You can't help who you love?" in order to absolve themselves from any responsibility for their behavior and choices? This is just another case of women wanting equal rights but refusing to accept equal RESPONSIBILITY that goes with it.
There are millions of these myths, like "we're just friends" (meaning "you're not good enough for me") to "whoever ASKS for the date, should pay for it-- and it's the MAN'S role to ask."

Anon, I have seen that also. I guess that I should have written confindent, mentally secure women do not like to be treated badly. The more I got to know my self and like myself, the more important good treatment became.
I do agree with many of the myths in your article, they are well covered and the research did well to back up your theses. However, I feel the myth that describes that women do not like to be treated poorly is a tad one sided. I am not implying that women like to be treated like dirt, however I do believe that the reason men believe this is simply because of visual proof. Men see guys that act like jerks to their girlfriends while the girl, who is probably one of the better looking girls they have seen, seems to stay with the jerk. The reason, I believe, this happens alot is not because the men are jerks. The real reason this is a very consistant variable in a relationship is simply because in order for the attraction to be present, a gap where there is not love has to be present. In layman's terms, the girl needs to see that her lover is a confident, alpha-male that she is lucky to be with. This in turn creates a strong attraction to this confident male.
