Semitic Racists Are on the Scene Too

S. E. Masters
Today comedian Gilbert Gottfried was fired as the voice of the Aflac duck for his racist remarks aimed at Japan's earthquake and tsunami victims. Let's establish and face it that every color in the rainbow has a bigot representative, but it's not the first time that Jewish personalities have made racist remarks. If a-n-y-b-o-d-y who is not Jewish even says the word 'Jew' they are quickly identified as being anti-Semitic. I guess I will be too for writing this piece. Am not. Oh well.

Personalities like Howard Stern, Robin Williams, Michael Richards, and a slew of others have openly hurled crude, heartless, and inflammatory remarks and gestures, but get a pass because they're Jewish. Well...that's how it appears. Well, maybe not Michael Richards. Who knows if any of these men (and a few females too) are bigots. They just sow the seed when they get an urge. Let the truth be told. Semitic racists walk on the same ground and breathe the same air as the rest of us.

What's surprising, not too many people have openly made the complaint and survived the wrath of the Anti-Defamation League and the Jewish Defense League. When Blacks, Latinos and Asians speak out against Semitic racism, the complaints are often dismissed with remarks like 'get over it' and 'learn to live with it.' Perhaps there should be more cries of anti-Hamitism.

Many people just like me are walking Museum's of tolerance. This article isn't meant to cop a plea like Rodney King, "Can we all just get along?" Nice try, but that seems to be a far fetched notion. How about 'let's just leave each other alone.'
