Straight talking Senator John McCain actively sought the endorsement of Televangelist, San Antonio megachurch leader John Hagee. Senator McCain admitted that he disagreed with some of the views spouted by John Hagee but would not elaborate as to which views he had disagreement with. Does Senator McCain agree with the view that the Roman Catholic Church is "the great whore?" Does he agree that the Roman Catholic Church is a "false cult system" and "the apostate church?" Does he agree that the Catholic Church helped inspire Adolph Hitler to initiate the Holocust? These are only a sampling of John Hagee's controversial remarks and written views. In 2000, Senator McCain was very critical of Governor George Bush for accepting the endorsement of Bob Jones University. Senator McCain wanted Governor Bush to denounce the anti-Catholic views of Bob Jones University. Now Senator McCain is pursuing endorsements from the "agents of intolerance." Isn't it ironic that Senator McCain sold his valued principles to a leader like John Hagee just so that he could capture a few more votes in the general election?

Post a CommentJohn Hagee is far more disturbing to me than Jeremiah Wright. John Hagee is a true "HATE-monger." Jeremiah Wright on the other hand is a true Patriot (he was a marine for God's sake.) who is not the racist FoxNews has tried to make him into (Wright has many white friends and has married many interracial couples)
McCain would accept an endorsement from Charles Manson if felons got to vote.
well done here!!!!!!!!!!!!
Politics always makes strange bedfellows. I am surprised that McCain is conservative enough for Hagee.
