Washington Post and ABC News Poll Finds Only 1% Support

Senator Sam Brownback announced this Saturday that he will be seeking the2008 Republican Party's Presidential Vote. Brown has been dipping his toes into the melting pot recently to see how this news would go down explaining that "conservative values like opposition to gay marriages, abortion", and many other hot topics, "distinguish him from others" in the running for the 2008 Republican Presidential Election.

His conservative values also take into account stopping cancer, dealing with the energy crisis, a flat tax rate and compassionate programs for the poor. Some of the core members of the conservative constituency have lashed out at his opposition to revised Iraqi Strategy and for his support of a new legislation which would help some of the US's 15,000,000 approximately illegal immigrants citizenship of our country.

If Guiliani were to win the election then I will know what I read a few years ago about GWB and the Skull & Crossbones ilk is true. Government corruption is beyond redemption. Anyone that thinks a female is not allowed to have a surgeon remove a fetus from her fallopian tube to save her life will not get my vote. Ditto anyone that wants to help the La Raza's in their quest to make the country fully under the power of Mexico. Or to enacting legislation that could cause a new civil war between the La Razas and the white supremistists.

What seems interesting is how willing people are to drop support for a candidate because of one thing, eventhough they are in agreement most of the time. If conservatives abandon McCain or Giuliani, thinking they need someone who genuinely supports their values like Sam Brownback - then say hello to President Hillary Clinton. To be honest, I think McCain is gambling hoping this troop surge will work - because he's tanking in national polls. Guiliani is the only one who can beat Hillary... but as a liberal myself, even I would be comfortable with him in office. Bottom line is, Christian Conservatives can kiss their social agenda goodbye.
