Send a Valentine - Just Because

Why Wait for Valentine's Day!

Teresa Mahieu
Do you send out so called "snail mail" anymore? If you do that is great as many still love to receive those envelopes with the familiar writing in their mailboxes. It sure beats bills or junkmail. And if you don't,

WHY NOT!!

Making a simple little card is easy and well worth the smile you'll plant on someones face. A letter to a friend or loved one need not be lengthy. Just a simple "hello, how are you" will do and will let the recipient know you are thinking of them. With Valentines Day just around the corner why not use this time to send a heartfelt greeting to someone you love and continue to send little notes of love throughout the New Year. I sent these words to my mom once. Why?

Just Because....

I made this card for you

just because

I thought of you today.

I'm writing to you

just because

I have so many things to say.

I wanted to say, "I Love You"

just because

Of your many loving ways.

I made this card today

And wrote this poem for you

just because

I love holding a card in my hand with the little kisses and hugs. Nice.

I agree that a little snail mail is nice. Handwritten seems to put a caring touch to things. :-)

Valid point about postage below, but I agree that handwritten letters or notes definitely have their special appeal--heck, maybe even if they sometimes must be hand-delivered.
