Sensing Murder; Is Simon Buis a Poltergeist

Jaahda Jinnah
This article has two main themes; firstly my opinion about what happened to Simon Buis whose disappearance was featured in last night's Sensing Murder episode and, secondly to talk about poltergeists.
I think that the psychics featured in last night's episode have given sufficient information to Duncan Holland's Private Investigation Agency for this case to be cracked and I do believe that there now is every likelihood that this will indeed happen.

As is usual with this show I got impatient and frustrated and this happens to me because of the layout of the show. Case details are given in the early part of the program and this is when I get most of my impressions and I then have to sit through the other 80% of the show which features the 'psychics at work'.
Right from the outset I felt something was missing; that something important has or was being withheld from the show either deliberately or not. In fact I suspect that aspects of this case were either deliberately omitted or ignored in this episode.
During the interview stage in the early part of the show members of his family were notably missing and neither his children or his wife (if she is still alive) were interviewed for the show and the fact that they were missing is, I believe is a big part of the reason that Simon Buis has initiated poltergeist activity from the 'other side'. So Simon Buis is not a poltergeist but his spirit is initiating poltergeist activity.

After seeing the early part of the episode I believed that Simon was targeted by 'bovver boys' and it turns out that the psychics also believe this. I believe he was more or less picked at random as 'bovver boys' tended to target people from minority groups such as gays, foreigners, hippies etc.
When the episode was telling details of how he was found I could hear Ian Drury music; though let's not blame Ian Drury!
In fact I wondered if they also thought he was gay and wondered if the park was (in 1980) a 'gay beat'. Information picked up by the psychics about the assailants matched my own visions though there was no reference to the park being a 'gay beat'.
That being said I did not pick up that Simon was particularly gay. But I do believe there were some very big problems in his marriage and that his alcoholism would have contributed to these.
And the fact that his children were not interviewed on the show also makes me wonder if they disowned him for whatever reasons.

During the 'investigation' part of the show a large, framed photograph that was nailed to the wall crashed down and the crashing could be heard during the taped session. One of the crew interrupted the psychic to show (the audience) what the noise that was heard was and, like I said it was the photo crashing down from the wall.
A poltergeist can, from the 'other side' make objects act erratically. And Simon was a photographer too so he had a strong relationship with photographs.
This kind of poltergeist behavior is something I am well used to in my life and I find that it can occur for a number of different reasons. It doesn't alarm me either and if other people are present when the rattling, shaking or whatever occurs I often make some kind of joking remark. I guess it also takes the edge off their fear or alarm being that they can see I am not alarmed and still alive.

Right from the beginning of the episode I got a visitation from Simon and at the point that the photo fell from the wall a very large, heavy wooden screen that I have started to 'knock and bang'. From a psychics point of view it can be amusing even. I told him I will try and help to sort his problem but I also told him not to bug me too much with any more poltergeist activity as he now has my attention and I will help him in my own time and in my own way.
This is the kind of conversation I often have with 'noisy spirits' who initiate poltergeist activity. I tell them I will 'track' for them; but tracking is not something all mediums do (although Alison Duboir in Medium does) but the subject of 'tracking' is fodder for another article.
The layout of this particular show does not allow for 'tracking'.
And just a couple of paragraphs ago he turned my radio on and off a few times and banged the roof and I had to again remind him not to be too impatient and to stop his noisy activity as I 'have my tracker assistants now on his case'.

Which now brings us to why is he initiating poltergeist activity? The 'how' is a much more difficult question that I will discuss in a future article.
When people die in a bad state emotionally their spirits 'get stuck' and cannot cross over properly. And this fellah is/was very upset emotionally. He is indignant and angry at the manner of his death and he also has messages that he really, really wants to give to his family. Such spirits get stuck until they can resolve their issues; the issues of the most immediate lifetime and such issues invariably involve negative emotions.
Incidentally using a Ouija board often summonses these type of lost and lonely spirits and this is the reason why I so often advise against its use.
Such spirits seek human help and intervention and are often eager to visit anyone who might give them a chance. I've also heard them referred to as 'hungry' or 'angry ghosts'.
I've seen some pretty horrible things happen with Ouija boards when earthlings press the spirits to help them instead of the other way round.

Poltergeists are rarely dangerous though there are stories of the horror they can sometimes and occasionally mete out.
Generally they just rattle and shake things a little bit and the degree of activity depends largely on the negative emotional issues of their life combined with their persistent and impatient desire to be heard. Not all 'stuck spirits' become poltergeists and some just roam around indeterminably. I guess the plane they inhabit could maybe be likened to some kind of purgatory.

Now I have sent my trackers out and will sit back until they bring to me someone from Simon's immediate family or circle of friends. I expect them to email me, most likely through here.

Keep posted.
