What happens next is someone building a web site will look to these article directories for content to put on their own web sites. When they find an article that they want to put on their own web site from an article directory, they cannot use it without including the author's box, which means that if your article gets chosen, a link to your web site is going to be on that person's web site also. The more places your link shows up over the Internet, the higher your web site's ranking will be.
