Sephora Rocker Chic Collection 2010: A Bit of Glam in Every Bottle

Gwendolyn Taylor
With the fall season around the corner, Sephora has recently released their autumn themed nail polish colors called the "Rocker Chic" collection. With the success of their spring/summer "Havana Nights" collection, this is sure to be another crowd pleaser. A collection brimming with dark glitzy shades, this is sure to appeal to the darker side of all nail polish fanatics.

This collection sports nine electrifying shades: "Just A Little Dangerous" (a royal purple metallic color), "Club Queen Scene" (a sheer smoky grey color with a hint of denim blue shimmer), "Already Famous" (a sheer pewter color with a hint of gold and silver glitter), "Dating The Drummer" (a sheer reddish brown with a hint of iridescent shimmer), "Do I Know You?" (a dusty rose crème color), "Rock His World" (a deep cranberry crème color), "Studs & Stilettos" (a bronze metallic color), "Fiercely Fabulous" ( a bright bold poppy red crème color), and "Go My Own Way" (a sheer basic teal crème color with a hint of blue shimmer). All of these are all very interesting and fun to wear colors, but I would say the most eye-catching ones are "Queen Club Scene", "Already Famous", "Dating The Drummer", "Studs & Stilettos", and "Do I know You?". All of these colors definitely have that distinct edgy look to them and bring a nice extra touch to the usually darker shade nail polish colors that usually debut for the fall season.

Since these are a limited edition collection from OPI for Sephora, these are only available in actual Sephora stores (located in malls nationwide and also in JC Penney Department stores) or through their online store website. Each bottle retails for $9.00 each, which is even pricier that regular OPI nail polish products, so I would only recommend getting the ones where you most likely won't see a similar or a dupe of with more inexpensive brands. Luckily, Sephora is offering a mini 4 pack set which contains the following colors: "Fiercely Fabulous", "Just a Little Dangerous", "Already Famous", and "Go My Own Way", for only $18. That way, you can sample 4 colors instead of spending the same amount and getting only two colors.
