The eyebrow kit that was used on me at Sephora was from their own makeup line. It was their eyebrow palette in 02 for brown to black hair. It came in a very chic black Sephora compact that came with two shades of brow powder, a light weight dark colored wax and a small angled eyebrow brush in it. The dark shade of powder is for shaping while the lighter shade is for filling in the brows. The wax serves to hold the colors and brows together, to create a perfectly groomed brow. The wax is dark pigmented so it adds to the powder making my eyebrows look full, shapely and well groomed. I was so surprised at how much better I looked with full eyebrows. The down side to this product is that it costs $12. That doesn't sound much but I'm the type of person that doesn't like to spend more money than I have to.
Several months later I came across E.L.F cosmetics and found out that they have an eyebrow kit that looked almost like Sephora's. I read the reviews and the product had gotten a lot of good reviews so I wanted to try it out for myself. I ordered E.L.F's eyebrow kit from their Studio line in dark and it only cost me $3. E.L.F's eyebrow kit comes in a black compact, very chic and easy to close and open. It comes with a built in mirror, a small eyebrow brush that has an angled brush side and a normal brush side. In this compact is two products, a dark pigmented wax for shaping and grooming the brows and the lighter shade is the filler powder. The powder looks light but it works with the pigmented brow wax to create fuller, natural looking eyebrows.
Between Sephora's eyebrow palette and E.L.F's eyebrow kit I'd have to go with E.L.F. Not only does E.L.F's eyebrow kit work just as good as Sephora's but it costs three times less. Why spend more for the same quality and quantity when you can spend less?
