Session 19: Pasture of Woe

A Young Boy's Plea for Sanctuary

Mike Powers
Hide me -
Take me away
From this pasture of woe.
Grant me asylum from the pain.
Is there no refuge from these heavy blows
Laid upon me by my father?
Battered and bruised I am;
Oh, hear my cry:
Hide me.
