"Set Me Free" - an original poem
So many times I stumble and fall
My sin overwhelming the view of the Cross
The weight of these burdens are pressing in hard
The chains of my evils are hardening my heart
But You the Mighty One, awesome to save
Took my frail life from the hideous grave
You've clothed me in justice through the death of Your Son
Jesus has set me free - the victory is won!

Post a CommentOh, the wonderful power of faith and prayer - the most powerful cocktail mix that I know! I love this work, beautiful. Thank you Thomas.
This is wonderful! It's great to find such strength in others' testimonies. Thanks for sharing yours.
It sure must be tiring for God to have to forgive me every single day. We are so lucky that He is so patient and forgiving and loving. Great poem!
There is sure and certain victory in Him. Amen to that, or I'd still yet be on the floor. Great work here and very, very encouraging to believers...for non-believers, "What are you waiting for!?...Come to Him who will not let you ever again fall from His or the Father's hands! (John 10:28-29) Well done Thomas. : - )
Wonderful prayer of faith! Thank you.
With Love, Cindy
Very nice - thanks for sharing.
T- It's hard to explain to people, isn't it? The freedom that comes from surrendering. I loved this, cheers.
