Seth Green Mugged? Or is the Seth Green Mugging a Publicity Stunt?

A New Video May Depict Seth Green Being Mugged Before a Commercial Shoot

Seth Green may have been mugged earlier this week. A video showing the Seth Green mugging has apparently been found by website Popeater.com, which claims that it is indeed Seth Green getting mugged in the footage. The next question that is going to come up is whether the footage of Seth Green being mugged is real or whether it is a publicity stunt being used to draw attention to a new film or television show that Seth Green is working on. It's hard to tell just by looking at the video whether or not it is even Seth Green being depicted, but the person in the video does use his mannerisms, and it could be 100% legitimate.

Seth Green is known in different circles for his acting on Buffy the Vampire Slayer, his co-creation Robot Chicken that airs on Cartoon Network, his voice of Chris Griffin on Family Guy, or even his supporting roles in films like Without a Paddle. People up to date on their pop culture easily recognize him by his hair, voice, or humor, and he is one of the funniest guys on television right now. He is good at both physical comedy as well as scripted jokes, and that could be part of the reason that not everyone is jumping to his aid with the recent news of a mugging. It could be that people wouldn't put it past him to do something humorous like this in order to promote something.

If indeed it turns out that Seth Green was really mugged and that this footage (linked on page two) turns out to be that of a real mugging, many people are going to feel bad for doubting the rumor. There also hasn't been a statement made by Seth Green to a major news outlet that he indeed was the victim of a mugging, so it seems almost like it really could just be a public relations move. If it turns out to be a PR move, and people have given him sympathy for being mugged, it could end up back-firing on the writer/actor as well. It sure does seem like this could be a real video, and hopefully if it is, someone is able to identify the attackers seen in the parking lot.

The Seth Green mugging footage is only going to become more popular as it makes its way around the internet, and maybe it will allow even more people to get on board with the great humor that Green is always able to display in his work. I have been a big fan for a while now, and am always looking forward to the next project that he has placed his name on. Last season, he even had a small part in an episode of Heroes that was quite interesting to behold. However this turns out, we hope that Seth Green is all right, and that the muggers didn't get away with anything too valuable.
