This year's show is being hosted by zany funnywoman Chelsea Handler-a surefire source of raucous laughs. But the MTV VMA's will feature a parade of the rich and famous. These celebrities are certain to boost MTV's ratings for the night...

Eminem

As one of the biggest names of the evening, Slim Shady is all set to perform for the 2010 MTV VMA's. With a slew of nominations under his belt, there is no doubt that Eminem will provide a musical performance to remember.

Justin Bieber

He became an Internet sensation overnight-creating what is now known as "Bieber Fever." And now Justin Bieber (and his adorable haircut) will be front and center on the 2000 MTV VMA's. He's all set to perform, and you can bet that legions of 'tween girls will have nervous breakdowns in front of their television sets.

Kanye West

The controversial rapper/producer/music mogul will bring his super machismo steez to the MTV stage once again. Only this time, he'll be performing instead of interrupting acceptance speeches. With his fifth studio album dropping in the fall, this is the perfect time to promote the infectious music that helped him gain his reputation.

Drake

Hip-hop's newest "gentleman" has become one of the urban community's biggest musical sensations. If his face isn't slathered across the tabloids, then it's popping up in one music video after another. Rapper/singer Drake is the industry's resident "It" guy-the voice you can't seem to get away from (not that anyone appears to be trying.) He's slated to introduce a slick promo for the 2010 MTV VMAs, him-a sure treat for his hordes of female fans.

Don't call her the new "Queen Bee" (or else Lil Kim will come and get ya.) Barbie-couture rapper Nicki Minaj is a presenter at this year's MTV VMA's. While her time at the mic may be brief, certainly her visual impression will be long lasting.

Lady Gaga

Her name has been smeared all over every Hollywood headline that contains the words "2010 MTV VMAs." That's probably because the mega pop queen has been nominated twice in two musical categories, for Best Music Video of the Year, and Best Female Video. We may not be treated to her magically crazy musical performance. But Lady Gaga's name will be on the lips of millions nonetheless.
