seven peonies rest beneath the sun
gently bobbing in the breeze
their perfumed heads dancing
to the children's laughter
seven people who never met
reach the same conclusions
and reach their hands
for the razorblades
seven children playing
dancing
laughing
in the garden of my tears
next to your house
I can hear the laughter
I can hear the tears
I can feel the fear
I can hear your pain
I can not reach you
in the sun
beneath the billowy clouds
of my blue skies
I send warmth and love
so you can grow
so you can thrive
do not give up, little ones
seven peonies rest beneath the sun
gently bobbing in the breeze
their perfumed heads dancing
to the children's laughter

Post a CommentGreat job! Yes, I love peonies too (as your links reveal).
Hey, you asked about sources for peonies: I started with a few small plants, purchased at a local garden center. Over the years, I have divided these. We have left huge planting in three homes, upon relocating. Still, I have an enormous row of peonies by my garden shed, as you can see in the photo! Dividing and swapping with friends has really been the best way for me!
Wow.....awesome job!!!
