Seven Random Activities to Do in Las Vegas Besides Gambling
Try Something New on Your Next Trip to Las Vegas
---Simulated skydiving can be experienced at Vegas Indoor Skydiving. While there, you will be suited up in proper skydiving gear and given a lesson to safely complete your skydiving experience. This is your opportunity to truly let go and float over the wind tunnel.
---If you are an outlet mall shopper, visit the Las Vegas Outlet Shopping Center, located at the south end of Las Vegas Boulevard. With over 130 stores, you will have plenty of opportunity to spend your winnings. With outlet stores like Coach, Tommy Hilfiger and Ann Taylor, you won't leave Vegas without something to remember it by.
---Playing the slots at the casinos is a pretty obvious activity in Las Vegas. But eventually, you will need a break from the casino. Why not take in a movie? Right on the strip, the United Artists Showcase 8 Theatre is located near MGM Resort/Casino, across the street from the Monte Carlo Resort/Casino. A member of the Regal Entertainment Group, the United Artists Showcase 8 has 8 theatres showing the latest film releases. So take a load off and be entertained while you rest.
---Regardless of where you are staying in Las Vegas, there will be a spa nearby. Who doesn't like a little pampering from time to time? Consider checking out your hotel's website beforehand to determine whether they have a spa on site. Men and women alike enjoy a spa day. Various massages, hydrotherapy, steam rooms, and facials remove stress and are nice additions to your Vegas vacation.
---Stay in your beautiful hotel room and have a room service/movie day. The vast majority of Las Vegas hotels offer comfortable beds, 24/7 room service, and in-room movies. What a way to get your money's worth for the hotel and to let go of stress. Spending just one day hanging out and enjoying some alone-time is a great way to rest and reconnect with your honey in Vegas.
--Check out the museums in Las Vegas. The Bellagio Museum of Fine Arts, for example, exhibits art of some of the world's most renowned artists. If you have never visited a Madame Tussauds museum, now is your chance. With life-size wax figures of some of the most well-known celebrities, Madame Tussauds Las Vegas is interesting and convenient to visit. Take a look at the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority website for more museum suggestions.
---Consider taking free gaming lessons. That's right, many of the strip resorts offer gaming instruction at no charge. Even if you don't want to gamble, you may meet some fascinating people and learn something to apply in the event you later decide to play the slots or blackjack. I hate to say it but, what do you have to lose?
