Put it away and save it for Halloween.
Last year we ran out of Halloween candy. I gave the children fruit and vegetable juice boxes while my husband ran to the store to get more candy. A neighbor gave out expired microwave popcorn so in comparison I am really not that bad!
Find all of the individually wrapped candies and put them away until October. Make sure you hide them well if there is a chance that someone might sneak into them before Halloween.
Make art.
Use jelly beans to make mosaics. This is a fun and challenging medium for artists as well as a great family craft idea. For ideas and examples check out the Jelly Belly Bean Art Collection.
Play with your Peeps.
No one in my family growing up actually liked to eat Peeps, but we did enjoy playing with them. My sister and I would have our Peeps joust by putting toothpicks in them letting them duke it out in the microwave. Challenge your creativity by creating a Peep video and posting it on YouTube. You can also try your hand and creating the next popular Peep diorama.
Pawn it off on coworkers.
Bring your leftover Easter candy to work and give it to your coworkers. From my experience, if you give it to your IT department you can be sure that it will get eaten.
Donate it to your local food bank.
Get the chocolate out of the house while teaching your children to be generous by donating extra Easter candy to your local food bank. Make sure to call first and confirm that they will accept candy.
Chop up the chocolate.
Chop up your chocolate bunnies and put the pieces away for later. If your Easter baskets look like mine, you will never need to buy chocolate chips again.
Sell it on eBay.
My husband suggested that we sell the leftover Easter candy on eBay. At first I laughed at the idea but after a quick search I found that you can indeed sell your leftover candy on eBay.

Sounds like great ideas!
Good ideas. I do not eat Peeps either.
All good ideas!
my (boring) way to get rid of leftover candy, for any holiday is to freeze it. throw the chocolate in the freezer and use it to bake with when you need it. even jelly beans will last all year until the next easter. no one will ever know!
Loved this, you rock! :-)
Now you've done it. I want jellybeans! Thanks for sharing :)
Great suggestions! Thanks for posting them.
I'd throw the Peeps away and bring the other goodies into the office.
Candy is never "leftover" in our home ! LOL cheers, good article!
