Several metro Detroit roadwork projects to end in early July

Several construction and repair projects in the metro Detroit area are slated for completion during the first 10 days of July. Here is a list:

- The westbound M-59 ramp to Martin Luther King Boulevard closed June 16, and the schedule calls for reopening by 5 p.m. Friday, July 2.

- The 11 Mile Road ramp to eastbound Interstate 696 has been closed since June 1, and is scheduled to reopen at 6 p.m. on Friday, July 2.

- Dequindre Street's ramp to eastbound I-696 has the same schedule as the 11 Mile Road ramp.

- On both westbound and eastbound I-696 from Mount Road to Interstate 75, single lanes have been closed since May 26. Construction work is set to conclude by 6 p.m. on Friday, July 2.

- On Davison Road from M-10 to Interstate 96, the right lane has been closed since May 22 for resurfacing and sidewalk upgrades. Work is slated to conclude by 4 p.m. on Friday, July 9.

- The eastbound M-59 ramp to Martin Luther King Boulevard closed June 16 and is scheduled to reopen by 5 p.m. on Friday, July 9.

- The westbound Interstate 94 ramp to northbound Interstate 275, closed since May 22, is set to reopen at 5 p.m. on Friday, July 9.

- Multiple lane closures have occurred since April 5 on eastbound Michigan Avenue and westbound U.S. 12 from Outer Drive to Brady Street. The target date to finish the work is 10 p.m. on Saturday, July 10.
