Sex After Menopause: A Woman's Continued Libido
How Transisting Through Menopause Leads to an Awakened Sex Life in Women
Following menopause, with the cessation of menstrual cycles and risks of pregnancy, many women find they enjoy sexual experiences more often. It is during this period that women tend to engage in more freely open sexual encounters and welcome the opportunity to experience orgasm in a variety of newly discovered sexual techniques.
For some women, following menopause, finding the ideal lovemaking partner can be quite complex. For this reason, many women, after menopause, tend to connect with the younger male who may carry the same level or degree of libido and, therefore, provide a post menopausal woman with the excitement and sexual experiences so desired. Unfortunately, with aging, men in mid-life begin to experience physiological changes which may attribute to an inability to pleasure the companion post menopausal woman.
While testosterone levels, in women, tend to become depleted with menopause, the period following menopause finds many women eagerly excited to continue along in sexual adventures. For this reason, maintaining physical, emotional and psychological health is crucial to the post menopausal woman's ability to attract the opposite sex, especially for those women who are seeking a sexual partner of a younger age.
While it is a common notion that women, after menopause, may seek out younger men in an effort to acquire more enjoyable sexual experiences, it is the older male who may hold the key in terms of sexual longevity. Because middle aged men tend to require longer periods of lovemaking to achieve orgasm, the sexual experience and pleasure of woman can be more likely achieved when she engages in a sexual experience with a man who is closer in age to her.
The key to achieving great sex after menopause is to be open to the possibilities and experimenting with a variety of lovemaking techniques. When coupled with a man who provides the right level and degree of intimacy, while sharing the same openness, a woman can experience the best sex of her life after menopause.
With that said, during the period of menopause, when sexual encounters may not be as pleasing or desirable, a woman should focus on maintaining health through diet and exercise so as to prepare for the great sexual experiences after menopause.
