As Carrie states in the trailer for the Sex and the City Movie trailer, "Trends come and go..." And the trends of Carrie have always been her trademark. The way she takes everyday outfits and transform them into fabulous ensembles, gives us all a sensible look at staying beautiful; but without breaking our bank accounts.

The floral sundress she wore while walking the streets with her friends Miranda and Charlotte, is a perfect example of how Carrie opens her closet of eccentric items, and pulls out the start of a trendy ensemble. Accenting the sundress, Carrie wore a pair of hoop earrings, nice pump sandals and carried a clutch purse; which accented the floral prints on the dress. Nothing fancy, but the finished looked gave Carrie the appearance of having shopped all day and spent her life savings for.

The look can be easily obtained, and cost-saving by wearing a sundress which can be found at any retail store. One doesn't have to shop in high-priced boutiques to acquire beautiful clothes and/or accessories. Target is constantly advertising sales on items like the floral-printed sundress that Carrie wore in this scene. And, you may just be able to purchase a sundress like this one for under $20. Accented with a clutch purse that can also be found at Target. It may look more coordinated, if you accent the dress with a purse that either has a floral print (with matching colors of floral print), or a solid colored purse (matching one of the colors in the floral pattern). But please keep in mind of the type and color of shoes you plan to wear, when matching your purse with the ensemble/outfit.

Everyone may not be a shoe fanatic like Carrie, because Carrie loves her Jimmy Choo heels. And a pair of Jimmy Choo mules that would look great with any sundress, would probably cost nearly $600. And many of us may not be willing and/or able to pay that price for a pair of shoes. Another way to slim the costs for an expensive look, would be the choice of shopping for shoes that look just as great at a shoe outlet, such as Chernin's Shoes; located in nearly ten states across the United States.
