Sex and the City: Quizzes, Trivia and Games, Oh My!

I consider myself to be a "Sex and the City" infomaniac so it was great fun for me to trip to these sites and find out what I knew and what I thought I knew. Having just seen the new "Sex and the City" movie, I was primed and ready. I thought I knew it all. I found out that I only knew about half of it. These sites are still great fun. Some of the sites are just pure game sites and others are tribute sites that include pictures and video. Looking back at some of the old stills from the series brings back memories of the show. "Sex and the City" struck a chord with women not just because we got to see people having sex every week but because it showed four women navigating their way through the world. Even though they were slightly more stylish or had a bit more money, that didn't matter. The series and movie showed that no matter how much money or style you've got, unless you've got friends who love you no matter what, you got bupkus.

HBO Sex and the City Trivia Game

The HBO site offers a full "Sex and the City" experience. It features an episode guide, cast and crew information, a shopping link so you can get togged out in the latest Manolos or get Cosmo glasses just like the one's the girl toast with. It also offers a link to an online "Sex and the City" Trivia Game. The game is fun and brings back a lot of memories. It is worth the trip over the HBO Sex and the City site.

Funtrivia

Funtrivia offers a variety of games and quizzes. They are separated by the skill level and by topics. It's not very chic or stylish but it offers access to a lot of trivia and game resources

Answer trivia questions, act out different scenes, collect lifestyle cards, chill the Cosmos and relive all you favorite "Sex and The City" moments.

Kwanzoo?

This site gets cool points for looking coolest of them all. They also feature giveaways which always get my vote. It's a great site but to play a full and to qualify for the giveaways you have to register for an account.

The site was a lot of fun but I kept getting an error so I had to leave. Very nice format, but the code needs some tweaking. It may have been my security set up.

The Real Guide Screen Test - Sex and the City Trivia Game

This site has a 25 question "Sex and the City" Trivia game along with access to other trivia, such as 80's trivia, Coen Brothers trivia and Academy Award trivia.

Absurd Trivia

This site features only trivia. Though it list a game tab, it is not populated. They, too offer access to a wide variety of trivia on a variety of subjects, including books, sports and music.

1001 Funquizzes

Features the 'Which "Sex and the City "Girl are You' quiz. This quiz was most famously seen on the Jimmy Kimmel show when Cynthia Nixon was a guest. The quiz asks a series of questions and your answers determine which "Sex in The City "Character you are most like. As it turns out most people end up being Carrie Bradshaw.

iVillage UK

This site features aSex and the City quiz and as it is an iVillage site, it also offers access to lots of nifty things for women. As an exra added bonus it's a British site so there's a little culture thrown in as well. Tally - Ho.

Quizilla is a great site where some one just created a "Sex and the City" quiz. I include it because it's a cool place where you can go and sign up fr an account. Creat what you want and put it out there for the world to see. Create and post quizzes, poems, stories, songs and more besides. Post yours and look at other's work. The site is part of the Nickelodeon Network. Also offers access to a variety of other games.

Marie Claire UK - Sex and the City Quiz

Marie Claire UK has a great "Sex and the City" quiz, but even more importantly, the site has a boatload of great contests to enter. I don't know if they are open to us here in the USA but when I popped over to the US. Marie Claire site they had only on contest to speak of. I'm going to try my hand at a few and let you know how I do.
