Disclaimer: The following questions and answers are products of my recollection of things that happened on the series. If anything is incorrect, I apologize and invite you, dear readers, to set the record straight!

Q. What was the name of the handbag that Samantha tried to wangle from the designer by saying that it was for her client, Lucy Liu?

A. It was the "Birkin" by Hermes. The bag is named after the actress, Jane Birkin, who starred in some major 1960's films, among them "Blowup". They are fabulously expensive bags!

Q. Trey MacDougal's mother, Bunny, Charlotte's one time mother-in-law,

played the mother of a regular in a major 1990's comedy series. What was the name of the series and the name of the character who played her son?

A. Frances Sternhagen, who played Bunny MacDougal, also played Esther Clavin, the mother of postman Cliff Clavin, one of the regulars on "Cheers".

Q. Charlotte's husband Harry gave her a dog when they were trying to conceive a baby. What was the name of Charlotte's dog, and what kind of dog was it?

A. Charlotte's dog, a King Charles Spaniel, was named Elizabeth Taylor. She was "romanced" while strolling in Central Park with Charlotte, and as a result gave birth to a litter of puppies.

Q. Miranda's mother-in-law on the series is married in real life to an actor who played the father of one of the stars of a major sitcom of the 1990's. Who is she married to, and who did he play in the comedy series?

A. Anne Meara, who played Steve Brady's mom, is married to Jerry Stiller, who played George Costanza's father in "Seinfeld." They performed together as a popular comedy duo, Stiller and Meara, in the 60's and 70's.

Q. Mothers were largely absent on the series, except for one of the characters' mother. Although she never appeared on screen, whose mother had an episode revolve around her, and why?

A. Miranda's mother died of a heart attack in one episode. The minister at her funeral couldn't seem to get Miranda's marital status right, and the other three girls showed up toting a floral arrangement the size of Brooklyn.

Q. What did Carrie wear when she modeled at the charity fashion show in New York city that featured both professional models and "real people"?

A. She wore a trench coat over a pair of jeweled underpants. She found out about this switcheroo at the last minute-she thought she would be wearing a designer gown by Dolce and Gabbana!

Q. What famous NY politician and what supermodel also appeared in the fashion show?

A. Ed Koch, the former mayor of NY, and Heidi Klum also strutted their stuff on the runway. Heidi gave Carrie the high five when Carrie picked herself up and kept right on going after she fell flat on her face on the runway in front of all the NY fashionistas.

Q. Samantha's client/lover Jerrod Smith, AKA Smith Jerrod, appeared larger than life on a billboard in Times Square, wearing nothing but a strategically placed object. What was it?

A. A bottle of vodka obscured the most interesting parts of Smith Jerrod. Shortly after Smith and Samantha happened on the billboard, he was recognized and chased by a gaggle of adoring teenage girls.

Q. Charlotte's second husband and erstwhile divorce lawyer, Harry Goldenblatt, had 2 habits which annoyed the H- E -double hockey sticks out of her. What were they?

A. Self described schmuck Harry liked to wander around Charlotte's apartment in the altogether, and park himself on her white sofa sans skivvies. He also plopped used teabags all over the place. Needless to say, preppie queen/House Beautiful maven Charlotte cured him of both habits PDQ.

Q. Carrie's one time boyfriend, Aidan Shaw, bought a ring for her, intending to pop the question. Suspicious Carrie snooped in his duffle bag while he was in the shower and found the ring. What did she do?

A. Carrie HATED the ring. She kept mum to Aidan but told her gal pals that the ring was gag-worthy, and asked them to drop large hints to Aidan about the kind of ring that would make her happy. Aidan took the ring back and exchanged it for the "approved" version before he popped the question. Alas, even the approved version didn't result in then living happily ever after.

If you got more than 6 right, you are a true "Sex and the City" freak. If you got them all right, you have no life, and must spend all of your time watching reruns.
